HumiSeal®️ Stripper 1080 Series products are a range of removers designed to dissolve cured HumiSeal®️ acrylic coatings without damaging printed circuit board substrates or components. Three different versions are available depending on the region and the type of acrylic coating to be removed.
HumiSeal®️ Stripper 1080 Series products are fully compliant with RoHS Directive EU 2015/863.

HumiSeal®️ Stripper 1080 Series products can be safely used on epoxy markings, epoxy substrates, solder, copper, silver, gold, and nickel platings. These products will swell or dissolve polystyrene and vinyl. Users should verify compatibility with their systems prior to use.
Instructions for Use: Immerse the component or printed circuit board assembly in HumiSeal®️ Stripper 1080 Series products. The rate at which the existing coating dissolves will depend on its thickness and age. A normally thick cured acrylic coating should be completely removed within 30 minutes at room temperature. No additional heat is required. Keep the container closed to prevent solvent evaporation. After the coating has been removed, thoroughly rinse the assembly with isopropyl alcohol, deionized water, or another suitable cleaning process. Before recoating, dry the assembly in an oven at 66°C for at least 30 minutes.
Precautions for Use: HumiSeal®️ Stripper 1080 Series products are flammable, and the following standard safety precautions should be observed:
• Use only in well-ventilated areas
• Wear protective gloves and safety goggles
• In case of prolonged skin contact, wash with water
• In case of eye contact, rinse with water followed by a diluted boric acid solution and seek medical attention
• Avoid prolonged inhalation of vapors
• Unused portions of HumiSeal®️ products must be disposed of in accordance with all applicable environmental regulations
