HumiSeal®️ Acrylic Gel is a fast-drying, single-component, thixotropic acrylic compound that provides excellent moisture and environmental protection for printed circuit assemblies. It is designed to be used in conjunction with our acrylic conformal coatings. HumiSeal®️ Acrylic Gel can be used for sealing, forming barriers, and creating an additional protective layer around component leads. It fluoresces under UV light for easy inspection and is easily repairable. HumiSeal®️ Acrylic Gel is fully compliant with RoHS Directive 2002/95/EC.

Substrate cleanliness is extremely important for the successful application of acrylic gel. Surfaces must be free from moisture, dirt, oils, and all other contaminants. Otherwise, ionic or organic residues on the substrate may become trapped beneath the acrylic gel and cause issues related to adhesion or electrical performance.
Maximum long-term reliability on coated printed circuit assemblies is achieved when the acrylic gel is applied to a clean and dry substrate.
Applying acrylic gel over no-clean flux is a common practice. Users should perform sufficient testing to verify compatibility between the Acrylic Gel and their specific assembly materials and process conditions.
Syringe Application
HumiSeal®️ Acrylic Gel is designed for automated needle dispensing but can also be applied manually.
Store in tightly sealed containers, away from excessive heat or cold. HumiSeal®️ products can be stored at temperatures between 0°C and 35°C. Before use, allow the product to reach ambient temperature (18°C to 32°C) for 24 hours.
