UV20 GEL – High-Performance UV Gel for Staking and Vibration Protection
HumiSeal® UV20GEL is a fast-curing, non-sagging, thixotropic paste that forms a flexible urethane acrylate after curing, providing good adhesion to engineering plastics and metal-based surfaces. In addition to UV curing, the material features a secondary moisture-curing mechanism to ensure curing in areas that are shadowed from UV light.
HumiSeal® UV20GEL is designed for staking and vibration-damping applications, but it can also be used as a high-performance adhesive for general PCB bonding applications.
Curing
HumiSeal® UV20GEL is a highly cross-linked material. To achieve maximum cross-link density and optimum physical performance, the product must be exposed to the appropriate spectral output.
HumiSeal® UV20GEL can be cured using arc, microwave, or LED systems. For arc systems equipped with H-bulbs and D-bulbs, the recommended minimum dosage is provided below. An LED system operating at a wavelength of 395 nm and with a power output of >12 W can cure UV20GEL.

HumiSeal® UV20GEL incorporates a reliable secondary moisture-curing mechanism that cures shadowed areas of the assembly within 7–10 days under ambient humidity conditions.
Storage
The product should be stored in tightly sealed containers, away from excessive heat or cold. HumiSeal® products may be stored at temperatures between 1°C and 25°C.
The product is sensitive to moisture, UV light, and visible light.
