HumiSeal®️ UV92 is a soft, single-component, UV-curable masking material. Its shear-thinning viscosity profile allows for easy application, and upon exposure to UV light, it cures 100%, forming a temporary barrier that prevents coatings from penetrating areas where they are not desired. It offers excellent solvent resistance, enabling selective removal from conformal coatings. It can withstand intermittent exposure to temperatures up to 150°C. It is compliant with REACH and RoHS and is available in bulk and syringe packaging.
Properties of HumiSeal®️ UV92:
Density: 1.04
Viscosity: Thixotropic
Appearance: Milky white
Chemical Class: Urethane acrylate
Shelf life: 12 months when stored at 18 ±10°C
Recommended curing conditions: UV-LED at 365 nm or 405 nm
“H” type microwave or arc lamp (minimum power 200 mW/cm²)
Cleaning solvent: Isopropyl alcohol
Hardness: 40 Shore A
Elongation at break: > 200%
Operating temperature range: -50°C to 150°C
Easily applied using syringes and dispensing equipment.
• Masks contact points and connectors from coating
• Does not cause tarnishing on gold, tin, copper, phosphor bronze, or Sn/Pb solder
• Easily peelable and leaves no residue that could interfere with subsequent processes
Apply HumiSeal®️ UV92 to areas of the printed circuit board where coating is not desired, up to a maximum thickness of 5 mm. Cure by exposing to the recommended UV radiation before applying HumiSeal®️ conformal coatings. Remove from the finished board by gently peeling from the protected area surface.
Storage
Store in tightly sealed containers between 8°C and 28°C, away from direct sunlight and light sources.
