The QUICK W5050D4C-2S+ Selective Soldering Machine is a multi-pot selective soldering solution developed for high-volume production environments and applications requiring short cycle times. Designed for in-line production lines, the system focuses on high productivity and stable process control.
Two Soldering Zones, Four Solder Pots
The W5050D4C-2S+ model features two independent soldering zones.
Each soldering zone is equipped with two solder pots, resulting in a total of four pots within the system.
This configuration enables simultaneous multiple soldering operations, significantly increasing throughput in lines with high takt time requirements.
Within the same soldering zone, the two pots can move independently along the Z-axis, providing greater process flexibility and control.
Large Working Area for Oversized PCBs
The machine offers an effective working area of 500 × 500 mm and supports PCB sizes up to 508 × 508 mm. This allows large and complex boards to be processed reliably within the selective soldering process.
Vision-Assisted Programming and Precise Positioning
The QUICK W5050D4C-2S+ is equipped with a CCD-based vision alignment system supporting:
- Automatic mark point recognition
- Fiducial control
Soldering paths can be created quickly and easily using:
- PCB images
- Gerber files
- Online or offline programming
- CCD camera-assisted alignment
Controlled Fluxing and Preheating
The system applies flux precisely in dot and line patterns using a micro-jet fluxing method. A minimum application width of 2 mm helps reduce ionic contamination on the PCB.
Preheating is performed using infrared and hot-air methods. Temperature values are monitored both through the system and via independent external monitoring to ensure a stable and controlled thermal process.
Stable and Reliable Soldering Process
During soldering:
- Solder temperature is continuously monitored
- Wave peak height is automatically controlled
- Nitrogen (N₂) protection is maintained throughout the entire process
The electromagnetic pump used in the system contains no mechanically moving parts, delivering constant flow and stable wave height while significantly reducing maintenance requirements.
